A beautiful, crisp November weekend greeted us at the Conyers International Horse Park, where the 2006 re-enactment of the Battle of Atlanta was held. We were dressed in our finest Yankee Blues as the 13th N.Y. Independent. By this time we had acquired our cannon, the ”Bonnie O,” which performed remarkably well in its debut. This would be our only appearance at the Horse Park (thus far), for the Battle of Atlanta venue had moved to Nash Farm Battlefield the following year.
