Located near both the Tennessee and Georgia state lines, Bridgeport is the site of “the undisputed largest reenactment in Alabama.” Even “Abe Lincoln” himself made an appearance! Indeed, with nearly 2,000 reenactors present Bridgeport was one of the largest venues we’ve attended. This was the 13th year that Bridgeport sponsored the reenactment, which is held on the third weekend of March.
